Overview:
As an Accounts Executive at Sandburgs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our restaurant operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, reconciling bank statements, and providing financial data and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software (specifically Tally), and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and issuing payments in a timely manner.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing customers, recording receipts, and following up on overdue payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or errors.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial data, analysis, and insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor and track expenses, analyzing spending patterns and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information, provide support, and facilitate cross-functional communication.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and implementing updates as needed.
• Prepare financial reports and statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for review by management.
• Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation activities, providing documentation and support as required.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field will be given preference.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the restaurant industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Tally, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
