Overview:
As a Team Member at Sandburgs, you will be an essential part of our dynamic and
fast-paced quick-service restaurant environment. You will work collaboratively with
other team members to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high
standards of food quality and cleanliness, and contribute to the overall success of our
restaurant. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and committed to
providing a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude as they enter the
restaurant.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS)
system.
• Prepare and assemble food items according to company recipes and
standards.
• Ensure that food products are cooked, stored, and served at the appropriate
temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant,
including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Assist with stocking and organizing inventory, including food, beverages, and
supplies.
Follow proper procedures for handling cash transactions and maintaining
accurate cash balances.
• Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed performance targets for
speed of service, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints courteously and
professionally, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all
times.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the food service industry preferred but not required;
on-the-job training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and
hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
