Overview:
As a Shift Manager at Sandburgs, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth
operation of our quick-service restaurant during your assigned shifts. You will lead a
team of frontline staff members, oversee daily operations, and uphold our high
standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. The ideal
candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, strong
problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all activities within the restaurant during assigned
shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer
service and achieve performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational
standards at all times.
• Monitor food preparation, cooking, and assembly processes to maintain
quality and consistency.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and
timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of guests.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders for
supplies as needed.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing tills, and
reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to health
and safety regulations.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations for team
members.
• Collaborate with other shift managers and restaurant management to drive
continuous improvement and achieve business goals.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the quickservice restaurant industry preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team
members.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in
hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
